The Google Marketplace: Doing it all in the Cloud

Every day, thousands of businesses choose the cloud. Today Google annouces the offical launch of the "Google Marketplace" which allows Google Apps customers to easily discover, deploy and manage cloud applications that integrate with Google Apps. Once installed to a company's domain, these third-party applications work like native Google applications. The Google Apps Marketplace eliminates the worry about software updates, keeping track of different passwords and manual syncing and sharing of data, thereby increasing business productivity and lessening frustrations for users and IT administrators alike. That's the power of the cloud.

More than 50 companies are now selling applications across a range of businesses so far with many many more expected to join. Google offers a competitive revenue sharing model at an initial one time application fee of 100$ and a 80/20 split in your favor. To learn more check out Google Blog or visit the marketplace.
